ISLAMABAD: President General Pervez Musharraf has appealed to the nation to reject opposition’s politics of confrontation and protests in the future also, like in the past and urged upon the opposition shunning the path of confrontation to pave way for the promotion of amity and understanding so that all together could take the country towards progress. Briefly analyzing the situation, he said that a mix of civil and army ruled the country from 2002 to 2007 and now this was the third stage, where the country would have absolutely civilian rule and now the journey to the civilian rule would kick off.
