CNews World KARACHI: MQM leaders Babar Ghauri, Haider Abbas Rizvi and Faisal Sabzwari expressed profound grief on the killing of MQM MPA Raza Haider along with his guard here in Nazimabad on Monday. "It would be difficult to put a cap on the chapter opened (today)," Babar Ghauri asserted. Talking to Geo News they said the tragic incident was to destabilize the city, which is the economic hub of the country. Unknown armed motorcyclists fired shots at MQM leader and MPA Raza Haider as well as his guard when he was preparing to attend a funeral prayer at Jamia Masjid of Nazimabad Block No.2. Raza Haider died while he was being shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. His guard succumbed to the bullet wounds later in the hospital.

CNews KARACHI: Mutahidaa Qumi Movement (MQM) leader, syed Haider abbas Rizvi survived murder attempt while police guard was seriously injured.According to the details, Haider Abbas Rizvi was returning back from Mewa Shah gave yard while in a way at Pak Colony unknown gunmen started firing at his car in the attack Haider Abbas Rizvi, his children and brother survived.While in a attack a police guard Muhammad Younis was severely injured, the police guard was then taken to Abbasi Shaheed hospital in critical condition.It is worth mentioning here that Haider Abbas Rizvi was getting threats from terrorists from last couple of days.

CNews KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) deputy parliamentary leader MNA Haider Abbas Rizvi on Sunday narrowly escaped an attack, while his guard was injured in an ambush in Pak Colony.MQM leader was returning home after visiting Mewa Shah graveyard along with his brother, nephews and sons when unidentified miscreants opened fire indiscriminately, as a result his guard Muhammad Younis traveling in a police mobile was seriously injured.Meanwhile MQM leader Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the attack on Haider Abbas Rizvi and termed it an act of terrorism. He said that attack on MQM deputy parliamentary leader was a bid to disturb peace of the metropolis. He called upon Chief Minister Sindh and Sindh Home Minister to take notice of the incident and immediately arrest the miscreants.
