Dr.Shahid Masood resigns the Special Advisor to Prime Minister

CNews ISLAMABAD: Special Advisor to Prime Minister, Dr. Shahid Masood has resigned from his latest portfolio of Special Advisor to PM.According to the details he was appointed by the Prime Minister in his cabinet as Special Advisor but Shahid Masood has resigned sources said.Dr. Shahid Masood earlier was taken the charge of Chairman of state owned Pakistan television. No immediate reason was known of his resignation sources added.

صدر پرویز مشرف کے استعفے کا اعلان

Pakistan needs political reconciliation for stability

Veteran T.V, radio artist Mehmood Ali passed away

CNews KARACHI: The prominent Radio and Television artist Mehmood Ali has passed away after suffering cardiac arrest late night on Saturday. His daughter Any told that his two sons were living in Canada while one is in Saudi Arabia to offer Umra. His sons would arrive in the evening today.  Mahmood Ali’s funeral prayer would be offered in Imambargah Rizvia Society after the Afternoon (Asar) prayers.  The passing away of the very talented Mahmood Ali has left a void in the heart of the Pakistani drama industry that will be impossible to fill.  Born in 1928 in Hyderabad Deccan, Mahmood started his illustrious media career with All India Radio in 1945. CNews RAWALPINDI: Namaz-e-Jinaza of Brigadier Zahoor Ahmed, Naik Ajmal, Lance Naik Rashid and PTV Cameraman Muhammad Farooq who died in a helicopter crash on Monday near Muzaffarabad was held tonight here.
