MQM Zardari as presidential candidate

CNews ISLAMABAD: A leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Haider Abbas Rizvi Saturday welcomed PPP's decision to nominate Asif Ali Zardari for the slot of presidentship.
   
Talking to a CNews, he said, "MQM welcomes PPP decision to nominate Asif Ali Zardari for the slot of presidentship and we are happy that the presidential candidate has been nominated from a smaller province."  
   
Decision to nominate presidential candidate from a smaller province will strengthen democracy, bring political, economic stability and resolve masses' problems, he added.
   
He said MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain had proposed name of Asif Ali Zardari for the slot of presidentship.
   
MQM believed that Asif Ali Zardari has handled the issue of impeachment with a political wisdom, he added.
   
He said the next president should have the ability to take along all political forces with reconciliation, which Asif Ali Zardari possesses.

Imran Khan sent me inappropriate text messages, claims Ayesha Gulalai

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Ayesha Gulalai alleged that Imran Khan sent her inappropriate text messages. Addressing a press conference, Gulalai said she wanted to hold presser tomorrow but as some PTI women had a press conference so she had to respond. “I am not concerned about party ticket or NA-1 seat, it is an illogical allegation, she said.  “Among many things, sending text messages is one of their bad habits,” she said. Gulalai said that Imran Khan always talks about turn of people to leave, adding that now it’s the PTI chairman’s turn. “Imran Khan cannot keep himself in control,” she said.
