Best Buy Cyber Monday Deals: LG 32LE5400, 32LE5300, 42LE5300 HDTVs

CNET: If you are looking for a television as a gift or for yourself during the Cyber Monday online shopping frenzy, you’ll probably be interested to hear about Best Buy’s collection of LG LED and HDTV models that they have on offer. We have three models to tell you about now, each one available for a discounted price during Cyber Monday only. Unlike Black Friday, these deals will be available online only, meaning that you won’t have to rush too much to secure one, unlike you normally would in-store. All three models are from LG, and they come equipped with LED-LCD display screens. The models are the LG 32LE5400, the 32LE5300 and the 42LE5300. The LG 32LE5400 is a 32-inch model and it’s available to buy online now for $899.99, while the other 32-inch model, the LG 32LE5300 is cheaper at $799.99. You may want to pick up the $899.99 model though, since it features LED backlighting and Internet Services such as Netflix and YouTube, whereas the LG 32LE5300 doesnt. Best Buy are also offering a 42-inch LG model, which is arguably the best deal since you can get it for just $749.99 after discount. Despite the bigger screen however, it doesn’t come with the LED backlighting and Internet features as mentioned above, either. If we had to choose between the three, we would pick the 42-inch model, since that is a great price for an branded LED model with pretty good features on-board too. If you are interested in any of the models, head to the product pages below for a full overview of each model. In Depth: Could robots be the writers of the future?

CNETAnalysis: It might be concerned with aliens, outer space and dimensional jumping for now, but ‘sci-fi’ might have to be redefined if the latest advances in automated writing continue apace. Software that can construct sentences, analyse data and even put a ‘spin’ on a news story are threatening to make the newsdesk and the author’s writing room very different places. The end for journalists? Journalism isn’t complicated. The popularity of online news stories can be tracked – and therefore the importance of news easily ranked – while almost everything is written using the inverted pyramid structure . Since automated writing software can already do most of that, are we looking at the last generation of human journalists? Narrative Science’s Quill is the leading automated writing software title. It transforms structured data into readable, plain English stories that are identical to those written by humans, ...
