KARACHI: The civil society, students, and many political parties jointly staged protest against murder of Shah Zaib in front of Karachi Press Club on Sunday and demanded immediate arrest of the killers, SAMAA reports.
A large number of civil society members, college students, singers, representatives of political parties, family members, friends of deceased Shah Zaib attended the protest rally and chanted loud slogans for arrest of affluent killers.
The protesters said on the occasion that Shah Zaib’s killers are roaming around freely; they must be taken into custody without any delay.
The protesters lit candles and offered prayers and appreciation to deceased Shah Zaib outside Karachi Press Club. MQM leaders also attended the protest rally and expressed solidarity with Shah Zaiab.
Later on, the protesters marched from Karachi Press Club to Panorama Center to express solidarity with deceased boy.
Five days have passed but no progress has been made for arresting the killers, added the protesters. SAMAA
