CM Balochistan announces Rs.2 million each for heirs of Quetta’s 4 shot dead police officials

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani announced two million each for heirs of those four police officials, who have been shot dead by armed attackers in Quetta today, SAMAA reported on Saturday.

Earlier today, some unknown motorbike riding armed attackers opened indiscriminate fire at a police mobile when it was patrolling near Farooqia Mosque in satellite Town of Quetta this evening.

Three police officials including ASI Ajab Khan, constables Abdul Rehman and Abdul Jabbar died on the spot while constable Dastagir sustained critical bullet wounds.

Constable Dastagir was immediately moved to Combined Military Hospital in Quetta, where he succumbed to injuries in intensive care unit.

According to the CCPO of Quetta Mir Zubair, total 30 police officials been martyred while performing duties during last six months.

Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani immediately took notice of police officials’ killings in Quetta and demanded complete report from the IGP and CCPO.

Raisani also announced two million rupees each for heirs of martyred police officials and promised to recruit, according to their qualifications, one son of each deceased police officials in the police force. SAMAA
