CNews ISLAMABAD: General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, after addressing the nation in which he announced to resign from office of the President, held farewell meetings with key personalities here at President House.Those who called on former President were include Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Tariq Majeed, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kyani, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mehmood Ahmed and Acting Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Asas Humayun. Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar Chairman Senate Mohamed Mian Soomro, who will assume the charge of acting President, also called on the President.Pervez Musharraf also met with his personal civil and army staff members.Later, the the former president was given a farewell Guard of Honour at President House by the contingents of Army.
