Awaz Apni KARACHI: A police Inspector and his body guard were gunned down when a police party was attacked in Lines Area late Thursday night, Awaz Apni reported. Station House Officer (SHO) of Brigade police station, Nasirul Hasan, along with his gunman Khurram Butt were attacked by some unknown miscreants, killing both of them while injuring a passerby. It may be reminded that Inspector Hasan had received life threats earlier. He played a vital role in Karachi Operation, Lyari gang war and arresting Rehman Dacoit from Quetta. The bodies have been taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC). According to TPO Jamshed Town, the Inspector received bullets in head and chest.
