CNEWS CHARSADDA: Five persons killed and thirteen wounded in suicide attack in Wali Bagh, the residence of ANP leader Asfandyar Wali Khan in Charsadda.ANP leader remained safe as relief operations were launched immediately after the attack. Cnews KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Home Affairs Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has ordered foolproof security arrangements aimed at protecting the lives and property of citizens during Ramazan.The minister directed the IGP, Sindh, to adopt foolproof security measures at mosques and Imambargahs, besides open places where worshipers gather for prayers. CNews RAWALPINDI: The death toll in double suicide blasts at Pakistan Ordinance Factory rose to 100, while the number of injured is being reported as 110 here Thursday.According to Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board press release issued here, that the bomb blasts occurred outside two exit gates of POF Wah Cantt about 1440 hrs when a large number of workers of POF were coming out at the time of shift change. CNews WAH CANTT: At least 14 people were killed and several others were injured as two blasts, one confirmed as suicide, rocked Pakistan Ordinance Factory (POF) here Thursday.According to CNews, a blast occurred at Main Gate of the POF at rush hour which was immediately followed by another blast at Gate no.1.Local authorities confirmed that the second blast was suicide, while a foreign news agency claimed that both the blasts were caused by the suicidal attacks.The casualties might be increased as a number of POF workers among others were present at the gate.Ambulances were called from all over Rawalpindi district for rescue work and the dead-bodies and injured were brought to POF Hospital and others nearby hospitals.Security personnel immediately rushed the scene as the incident place considered to be sensitive due to the military installments. CNews KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister, Dr Zulfikar Mirza has said that Monday’s bomb blasts were aimed at triggering ethnic strife in the city but people foiled this conspiracy.Addressing a press conference at Central Police Office, the Minister said that the blasts were carried out by helmet wearing terrorists riding on three motorcycles.He said that a team is investigating into bomb blasts under the supervision of DIG Saud Mirza and four suspects have been apprehended and are being interrogated. CNews KARACHI: The police have registered a case of Quaidabad blast, which left at least ten people killed and at least 50 were injured, against the unidentified miscreants.The blast occurred in Karachi industrial area of Quaidabad near Gul Ahmed Chawrangi in Landhi Town."The death toll has risen to 10 and there are about 50 injured people," Akhtar Zamin, the home minister for southern Sindh province, of which Karachi is the capital said. "This is the work of people who want to destabilise the country going towards holding of peaceful elections," Zamin said. CNews KARACHI: A headless body was found from a flat situated in Boat Basin police limits as the police said that the trader was stabbed to death and unknown persons burned his flat. Initially the DHA fire station was informed of the fire which reached the spot immediately and while pulling their ladders from the balcony side found a headless body. They immediately informed the Boat Basin police, who reached the spot and the DHA started the fire operation. The DHA fire office states that two fire tenders took part in the operation. However, the headless body was not burnt. The police present at the scene said that the deceased was identified as Shabbir Rehman Sapra, a local trader. Interrogation is underway.
