11 militants killed in clash with security forces in S.Waziristan

CNews RAWALPINDI: Reportedly, eleven militants have been killed and 15 to 20 were injured in an exchange of fire with security forces in South Waziristan Agency. POF blasts death toll rises to 100

CNews RAWALPINDI: The death toll in double suicide blasts at Pakistan Ordinance Factory rose to 100, while the number of injured is being reported as 110 here Thursday.According to Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board press release issued here, that the bomb blasts occurred outside two exit gates of POF Wah Cantt about 1440 hrs when a large number of workers of POF were coming out at the time of shift change. CNews WAH: At least 70 people were killed and about 80 others injured in two suicide bomb blasts outside Pakistan's main military arms factory in Wah Cantt. on Thursday.According to hospital sources, at least 70 persons were killed in the twin blasts at the gates of Pakistan Ordnance Factory.The attackers blew themselves up almost simultaneously outside two gates of the sprawling factory complex in Wah Cantt. After partition, he joined the Foreign Department and retired as Director, Foreign Affairs. His mother received her Master’s degree from Lucknow University. Career General Pervez Musharraf joined the Pakistan Military Academy in 1961 and was commissioned in an elite Artillery Regiment in 1964. He saw action in the 1965 war as a young officer in the Khem Karan, Lahore and Sialkot sectors with a self propelled Artillery Regiment. He was awarded the Imtiaz-i-Sanad for gallantry. He later volunteered and served for seven years in the Special Service Group "Commandos".
