CNews ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday conferred non-operational military awards on 30 officers of Pakistan Air Force on the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day. The awards include two Hilal-i-Imtiaz (military), 13 Sitara-i-Imtiaz (military), 12 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (military), one Sitara-i--Basalat and two Tamgha-i-Basalat. Those who were given Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) include Air Vice Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt and Air Vice Marshal Farhat Hussain Khan.
