CNews KARACHI: The prominent Radio and Television artist Mehmood Ali has passed away after suffering cardiac arrest late night on Saturday. His daughter Any told that his two sons were living in Canada while one is in Saudi Arabia to offer Umra. His sons would arrive in the evening today. Mahmood Ali’s funeral prayer would be offered in Imambargah Rizvia Society after the Afternoon (Asar) prayers. The passing away of the very talented Mahmood Ali has left a void in the heart of the Pakistani drama industry that will be impossible to fill. Born in 1928 in Hyderabad Deccan, Mahmood started his illustrious media career with All India Radio in 1945. He became a part of Radio Pakistan during independence, where he was associated with numerous plays.
