CNews PESHAWAR: City police here Sunday put security on red-alert in wake of deadly explosion in Islamabad. SSP Operation, Kashif Alam told reporters that security has already been tightened at important government installations, sensitive points and public places. He said that directives have been issued to police officers to further beef up security at hotels, railway stations, bus stops, markets, cinemas, colleges and universities. Ali said that instructions have been issued to police to ask transporters to check luggage of passengers before journeys. The police officer said that close circuit cameras have been installed at important places. He urged people to inform police after seeing any suspicious materials in their surroundings.
