PESHAWAR: A suicide attack at Diljam plaza near FC Chowk in the Saddar area of Peshawar killed FC Commandant Sifwat Ghayoor, brother-in-law of PPP-S leader Aftab Khan Sherpao and cousin of KP Governor Owais Ghani. Four people have been killed, and 10 others injured in the attack. The injured have been taken to Lady Reading Hospital. Three vehicles including one passenger bus have been completely destroyed. According to a report, a suicide bomber targeted an official vehicle on a motorcycle. The suicide bomber’s head has been recovered from the site. Intelligence agencies had prior reports of an attack in the area. The area is one of the busiest in the city, frequented by people all the time. Attacks in the past have taken place close to the area.
