It also now supports 7.2Mbps HSDPA for speedier Web browsing. Battery life seems to be an improvement on the iPhone 3G's. The resolution of the camera has been boosted to 3 megapixels, and it now has an autofocus feature, as well as video-recording capability. The voice-control feature lets you dial contacts, but also allows you to activate the iPod player by asking for a particular music track or artist. A digital compass has been added for souped-up location services We don't like: There's no doubt that the iPhone 3G S is an expensive smart phone. Because the jump from the iPhone 3G to the 3G S isn't quite as big as the jump from the first- to second-generation model...
