Awaz Apni KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to become a part of the Federal Cabinet.The decision to this effect was reached at a meeting of MQM Coordination Committee which was later ratified by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.According to sources, MQM MNA Dr. Farooq Sattar, Senator Babur Khan Ghori and Senator Ahmed Ali are likely to take oath as Federal Ministers.It may be mentioned here that Aiwan-e-Sadr has already sent the invitations for the oath taking ceremony.

Awaz Apni ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to expand the federal cabinet, PPP spokesman Farhatullah Babar confirmed Sunday. At least two new ministers are expected to take oath in this phase of the cabinet’s expansion while the oath-taking ceremony will be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday evening. According to sources, invitations have also been sent in this regard. JUI-F’s Maulana Ata-ur-Rehman and Azam Swati are likely to be given the portfolios of Tourism and Science and Technology, sources said.

CNews Karachi: Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal has declared Karachi Water and Sewerage Board and Karachi Building Control Authority as Group of offices of City District Government Karachi (CDGK).A notification issued by City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal Friday said that in pursuance of Section 35, Part '0' of the First Schedule read with Section 182, Sub-section 3 of Sindh Local Government Ordinance - 2001, the Government of Sindh, Local Government Department vide notification No. SO(L&C)HTP/1-8/KBCAl03, dated 30.04.2004, had already been pleased to establish an additional Group of Offices namely Building Control Group of Offices and Water and Sanitation Group of offices, under Executive District Officers in CDGK.Therefore, the notification said that in pursuance of Section 195 and in exercise of the powers conferred under the Sindh Local Government Ordinance - 2001, the City District Government Karachi direct the Executive District Officers, Building Control Group of Offices...

CNews LAHORE: Governor Punjab Lt. General (Retd) Khalid Mqbool has said that a clash between parliaments and Awan-e-Saddar will be dangerous. He stated this in an interview to CNews News on Saturday. With the clash between parliaments and Awan-e-Saddar, the unending series of clashes will be started, he feared. The masses will be dislike if the new government would indulge in clash with Awan-e-Saddar instead of resolving multiple problems of people, he added.
