Over 60 killed in Karachi violence; 150 injured

Awaz Apni KARACHI :  At least 63 people have been gunned down so far as violent incidents including firing and torching of properties since Monday evening have been raging fiercely while over 150 persons have been reportedly injured during last three days, Awaz Apni  News  reported. 17 dead in Karachi bomb blast

AWAZ APNi KARACHI: Seventeen people have been killed in the bomb blast during the major Muharram procession near Light House traffic signal on M.A. Jinnah road in the city on Monday. Blasts in Karachi, Muzaffarabad; Several wounded

AWAZ APNI KARACHI: Several people were injured as blasts occurred in Karachi and Muzaffarabad on the occasion of Muharram processions , AWAZ APNI NEWS reported Sunday. In Karachi, a blast took place near Kasba Mor in Banaras Colony of the metropolitan. Some five people, a rangers personnel and a child among them, were injured in the blast, Police said. Police said fire has broken out at the site following the blast. However, nature of the blast could not be ascertained as yet. Talking to AWAZ APNI NEWS, SSP Fayaz Qureshi said the blast was of low intensity. In Muzaffarabad, several people were wounded as suicide bomber blew himself up in a failed attempt to enter Imam Bargah. Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals.

Karachi returning to normalcy after blasts

CNews KARACHI: Karachi returning to normalcy after seven bomb blasts in the metropolis on Monday. However some angry mobs forced closure of shops Tuesday morning in Qasba Colony area of the city. Police have registered the bomb blasts’ case against unknown perpetrators. The traffic was thin at the city roads in the morning, which was gradually returning to its normal flow as the people were reaching to their offices and business places.

Blasts wound 30, kill 1 in Pakistan

.CNews Karachi: A series of blasts went off Monday in Karachi, and at least 30 wounded people were taken to a hospital. One person died, police told CNews. Video showed casualties being treated in hospital. Police said there were four explosions in four neighborhoods. Karachi police told CNews a motorbike, a bicycle and a truck were involved in three of the bombs. Pakistan's Cnews reported that seven blasts in less than three hours killed two people and wounded at least 50, including 15 children. CNews Ali said it was too early to say what the targets of the explosions were, but one was reported to be near a police station. The Associated Press reported the blasts happened in residential and commercial areas. Nobody claimed responsibility in the immediate aftermath of the explosions. کراچی میں دھماکے، کئی زخمی

کراچی میں ہلکی نوعیت کے پانچ دھماکے ہوئے ہیں جن میں متعدد افراد زخمی ہوئے ہیں۔ یہ دھماکے ضلع غربی میں ہوئے ہیں۔ پولیس نے ان دھماکوں کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ دھماکے ہلکی نوعیت کے تھے جن کو کریکر دھماکے کہا جا سکتا ہے۔ آئی جی سندھ صلاح الدین بابر کے مطابق یہ دھماکے ہلکی نوعیت کے تھے جن سے تقریباً پچیس افراد زخِمی ہوئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ان دھماکوں میں یکسانیت یہ تھی کہ یہ تمام دھماکے کراچی کے ضلع غربی میں ہوئے اورایسا لگتا ہے کہ خوف و ہراس پھیلانا مقصد تھا۔ ڈی آئی جی ضلع غربی کراچی علیم جعفری بتایا کہ دھماکوں کی نوعیت کے بارے میں فوری طور پر کچھ نہیں کہا جاسکتا۔ ڈی آئی جی کے مطابق ان واقعات میں کوئی شخص ہلاک نہیں ہوا ہے۔ ہسپتال سے ہمارے نامہ نگار نے پتایا کہ عباسی شہید ہسپتال سینتیس زخمی لائے گئے ہیں۔ ہسپتال کے باہر ایک بڑی تعداد میں لال ٹوپیاں پہنے عوامی نیشنل پارٹی کے کارکنان موجود ہیں۔ انہوں نے ہسپتال کے دروازوں کا کنٹرول سنبھال لیا ہے اور میڈیا سمیت کسی کو اندر نہیں جانے دے رہے ہیں۔ وہ لوگوں کو ایمرجنسی کے سامنے سے ہٹنے کا بھی کہہ رہے ہیں تاکہ زخمیوں کی آمد میں کوئی خلل نہ پڑے۔

Karachi under bomb blasts attack

CNews KARACHI: At least seven blasts occurred here in various areas of Karachi in forty-minute time, killing two men and injuring at least 50 people including eight children on Monday evening.The people are extremely panicked as there are rumours are more imminent bomb blasts in the city. One killed, 50 injured in 6 blasts in Karachi

CNews KARACHI: One person was killed and 50 others injured in a series of 6 blasts that ripped through different areas of the busiest city of country on Monday.Two explosions occurred here in Banaras area. One of the blasts happened in a pile of garbage while the other one at a footpath near Banaras chowk, injuring 16 people. Two passengers killed in Qasba Colony firing

CNews KARACHI: Two passengers were killed as a result of firing on a bush after violence, which erupted in Qasba Colony on Sunday. The violence erupted in Qasba Colony after the death of a youth reportedly involved in street crime, the sources said. Looting was also reported the said area, however, the Rangers and Police have arrived in the area to control the situation.
