CNews WANA: Extremists in South Waziristan have killed twenty-eight members of peace committee whereas 2 are reported missing. According to sources, extremists were kidnapped 30 members of the peace committee on Tuesday after a clash in Jandola in which 12 were killed and 15 sustained injuries. Twenty-eight out of 30 have been killed and their bodies have been recovered from Kariwam, an adjoining area of Jandola on Wednesday. Two members are still missing. The deceased were belonged to Bhattni tribe. Situation becomes tense in the area after the recovery of the bodies.

CNews TANK: Three dead bodies of kidnapped security men were found at Wana road in Jandola town of South Waziristan. Pakistan military spokesman has confirmed that three dead bodies of abducted security men have been found and identified. The bullet-riddled bodies of three security men from a group of over 200 kidnapped some 33 days ago were found at Wana road in Jandola town of South Waziristan tribal region. The deceased belong to Dera Ghazi Khan, sources said. A letter has also been found with the bodies, in which Zulfiqar Mehsud, a spokesman for Betullah Mehsud, has threatened they would kill more abducted security men. Thr dead bodies have been shifted to Scouts Fort in Jindola. Pakistan military spokesman Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad has confirmed that three bodies of kidnapped soldiers have been found and all necessary steps will be taken with regard to the incident.
