Awaz Apni ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq tendered resignation to AJK President on Monday and appointed himself as caretaker prime minister. In a televised press conference just a day before the no-confidence vote, Raja Farooq Haider said: "I have decided to step down and have sent my resignation to the President." The incumbent premier has sent an advice for assembly session on August 06. The no-confidence motion was moved in the legislative assembly by a breakaway faction of ruling Muslim Conference led by former premier Sardar Atique Ahmed. He held Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and Government of Pakistan responsible for political crisis in the AJK and said would support any other candidate for the premiership other than his rival Sardar Atique.
