Six Easy Ways to Save Money on Pet Supplies

Pets add so much joy to our lives. Taking good care of them is important, and it doesn't have to break the bank. Here are six quick ways you can reduce the amount you spend on pet care. 1. Don't go overboard buying your pet treats and toys. While treats and toys are important for you and your pet's enjoyment, they aren't extremely important to their health. What's more important is the time and attention you give them and the quality of food you provide. If you do decide to buy treats and toys, purchase them while they're on sale. 2. Buy in bulk. Buying larger bags of dog food will generally save you quite a bit of money. Not only will the cost per ounce be less, you will also save money by not having to run out to get more dog food quite so often. Don't sacrifice value for convenience. If you buy the smaller bags because you can easily handle them, you're throwing money down the drain. Do a price check for food online at the pet superstores, such as Pet

I love tropical fish. They are very beautiful creatures. A properly maintained tank can provide hours of relaxation and entertainment provided you choose the correc t types of tropical fish that are available. Here are some questions to ask. Which Types Of Tropical Fish Play Well Together? There are many tropical fish that are aggressive. Choosing your fish by color could turn out to be a disaster. Make sure that when you buy the fish, you buy compatible species. If you get an aggressive fish, be sure that you can minimize potential damage. For example, if you intend to buy many smaller fish, keep in mind that putting a large aggressive fish in the tank may turn your smaller fish into fish food, certainly not what you intended. Are yo u going to put sea anemones in your tank? If you do, make sure you have fish that like to swim in and around them without getting stunned. Also, like those colorful spiny shrimp? Thomas Houlahan Report

{CNews Special Report} An American Washigton based expert Thomas Houlahan has made his assessment on Pakistan’s Judicial crises and lawyers movement. He says ‘In listening to a lot of the commentary on the recent showdown between President Pervez Musharraf and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, I’ve noticed that much of the “analysis” has been pretty hysterical and that many of those offering the opinions on the situation seem grossly ill-informed. It therefore struck me that it might be a good idea for someone to inquire as to what exactly has transpired between President Musharraf and the Supreme Court. At least it would provide a set of facts for commentators to work off'. Houlahan in his 47 pages report has not offered his opinion on whether or not it was right or wrong in moral terms to allow Pervez Musharraf to run for president while still a serving Army general, or whether or not his running for president while in uniform was a good idea. This is simply an examination of Presid

So here it goes: 1. Reward your parrot Whenever you want to teach your parrot something new and you see him doing it right, reward him with his favorite food treat, a pat on the head and a congratulation, a short play session or whatever you see fit as a reward. Although he won’t know what’s happening at first, as most pets do, he will soon adapt and correlate his reward wit

Tips For Choosing An Aquarium

When shopping for an aquarium, saltwater or freshwater, there are many factors to consider. From the size of the space you have chosen, to the amount of maintenance involved, a little research can save you time and money. There are many types of fish tanks to choose from, and picking the right one can be overwhelming unless you know what you want before you go shopping. Creating a list will give you a way to compare prices. Here are a few basic items you will need. Aquariums Glass aquariums are usually cheaper and don't scratch as easily as acrylic aquariums. They tend to look bulkier and are heavier because of the frame needed in their construction. Acrylic tanks are sealed differently then glass and usually look nicer and the seal is stronger. They weigh less, if this is a consideration, but require a lighter touch when you clean them, to avoid scratches. Both types of aquariums come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but if you want an unusual shape, acrylic fish tanks come in wi
