CNews KARACHI: Former Prime Minister and PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto said Monday she was dissatisfied with probe into attempt on her life made through 18-October suicide attack on PPP caravan in which she was unharmed but 139 people were killed and over 450 others were injured.A complete independent inquiry should be ordered into 18-Oct carnage, as we are not satisfied with the present mode of inquiry, Bhutto said this while addressing a press conference at Bilawal House.Some elements are present in the country who are defending suicide attacks, however, such elements should be discouraged and prevented from doing so, she said. CNews KARACHI: A bullet proof vehicle for carrying chairperson Pakistan People’s Party Benazir Bhutto from Karachi Airport to Quaid’s Mausoleum has been parked at a ground adjacent to Bilawal House.With a special permission from the government, Benazir Bhutto will be taken in an imported bullet proof vehicle from airport to the mausoleum of the Quaid-e-Azam with a procession.Media is not allowed to make the footage of the bullet proof vehicle.

CNews KARACHI: Sindh home department has warned of threat of suicide attacks on Benazir’s procession, however the government has assured to provide best security on the occasion. The modalities and execution of security plan on the arrival of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto were discussed threadbare at two meetings held at Home Department between the law enforcement agencies and PPP's security team. According to official sources, the PPPP team was informed about the threat, which primarily was from the Al-Qaeda related groups, which could execute suicidal attacks, IEDs, mass killing of PPPP supporters, stampedes. The PPPP team themselves suggested that as per their own threat perception, there was a possibility of attack through explosive laden remote controlled aircraft, snipers/sharp shooters and rocket attacks. CNews KARACHI: Strict security measures have been taken in metropolis at Youm-i-Ali on Thursday.CCPO Karachi Azhar Ali Farooqi told Geo News that heavy contingent of Police, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies have been deployed and hidden cameras were installed at the routes of the procession that would come out after Zohar prayers. The bomb disposal squad would screen the routes, which would be sealed later.CCPO Karachi said that MA Jinnah Road was not closed in the morning. It will be close before the procession. Nashtar Park, Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Road, Father James Road, MA Jinnah Road, Empress Market, Regal Chowk, Preedy Street and Bolton Market would be closed for traffic.All the traffic coming from downtown will be diverted towards Bahadur Yar Jang Road whereas traffic coming from Nazimabad will be diverted to Garden via Nashtar Road.Only those vehicles would be allow at link roads of Mazar-i-Quaid that have special stickers.
