CNews NEW DELHI: Following shutdown call by APHC and other Kashmiri organizations, the Kashmir Valley was paralysed on Saturday with staging of demonstrations in different parts to press for right to self-determination. The Coordination Committee comprising APHC, JKLF and other political, social and traders groups have given call for three day shutdown in occupied Kashmir to press for resolution of Kashmir issue. Officials in Srinagar said markets, offices, educational institutions and other semi-government organisations remained closed in Srinagar and elsewhere in the Valley. Private and government vehicles were of the road. The youths chanting pro-freedom slogans staged demonstrations. Anantnag town witnessed the biggest rally.  The processionists carrying green and black flags went around Srinagar city on motorcycles and scooters. CNews Islamabad: In occupied Kashmir (IoK), the All Parties Hurriyet Conference leaders, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Bilal Ghani Lone, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Zaffar Akbar Butt and Javed Ahmed Mir were placed under house arrest on Friday. The leaders told media men from their residences in Occupied Srinagar that they were placed under house arrest since early morning and a large number of Indian police personnel were deployed at their houses to prevent them from venturing out, KMS reported. The leaders were informed about the restrictions on their movement outside their residences in Occupied Srinagar, as they were planning to lead a protest march on the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh's visit to the occupied territory on Friday. They had also a plan to present a memorandum at the United Nations Observers Group at Sonawar about the recently discovered unmarked graves and custodial disappearances in Indian occupied Kashmir.
