ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Thursday submitted nomination papers of its presidential candidate Makhdoom Amin Fahim with the Election Commission of Pakistan here. People’s Party leaders Safdar Abbasi, Raja Pervez Ashraf and Babar Awan submitted nomination papers of their party candidate. Iftikhar Gillani, Naheed Khan, Farhatullah Babar and other party leaders were also accompanied with Makhdoom Amin Fahim. Amin Fahim talking to the media on the occasion invited all opposition parties for a joint opposition platform. He said the APDM has divided the opposition parties. He also thanked the party chairperson Benazir Bhutto for nominating him as presidential candidate of the party.PPP central leader Raja Pervez Ashraf talking to media outside the election commission premises, called Amin Fahim a strong presidential candidate. People’s Party workers holding party flags were present in large number outside the election commission building.
