CNews RAWALPINDI: Accountability court on Friday sought comments of National Accountability Bureau following petitions filed by Benazir Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari and others seeking acquittal in different cases of corruption and bad practices on the basis of recently promulgated National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
Accountability Court No-1 Judge Mohammad Hanif Khan in today’s hearing directed NAB to submit reply and adjourned hearing till October 17.
Yesterday, Farooq Naek, counsel for Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari, filed a petition in the Accountability Court Rawalpindi for withdrawal of SGS/Cotecna and ARY references against his clients.
