CNews PESHAWAR: After withdrawal of the no-confidence motion, the NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani Monday gave the governor advice for dissolution of the provincial assembly.
Muslim League (Q) MPA Nighat Orakzai this morning in the provincial assembly session announced that the opposition has decided to withdraw the no confidence motion against chief minister.
Some members of the opposition opposed the withdrawal of the move against the chief minister but agreed to the decision on the advice of Speaker Bakht Jehan Khan.
Mian Nisar Gul, an MPA of Tehrik-e-Insaf, presented his resignation from the assembly membership to the speaker. Speaker Bakht Jehan Khan later announced to quit the speaker office and read the text of his resignation letter.
He thanked the members of the assembly and adjourned the assembly session for unspecified period.
