Govt has its guesthouse for Benazir: Arbab

CNews KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim said Sunday that the government does not have bullet-proof security for Benazir Bhutto; however, there are available safe and sound government guest houses and armoured vehicles for her.Talking to media after meeting with the different people who visited him at Chief Minister House here, Arbab said that it has been the tradition of the People’s Party to hoist their party’s flag on others’ properties, adding PPP would not be allowed them to raise their party flag on the government buildings and pylons.The chief minister said the decision regarding sending back Nawaz Sharif packing was taken by the federal government.Dr Arbab said Supreme Court has issued a stay court over National Reconciliation Ordinance.There are cases filed against Benazir; accordingly, it is upto her to come back to Pakistan or defer it, he said.PPP people are asking for bullet-proof security; however, as far as safety and security is concerned, then the government guest house and armoured vehicle are better places.
