KARACHI: Two young men were killed and seven seriously wounded in a traffic accident at Karachi’s Hub River Road on Sunday morning.
A speedy truck hit a dumper at Northern Bypass near Saeedabad, while another truck coming behind was also collided with the two vehicles in the crash, police said.
Nine persons were seriously wounded in the accident and Edhi Foundation ambulances transported them immediately to the Civil Hospital. Two of the wounded were succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.
Six persons provided medical aid at Civil Hospital have been identified as Rajan, Munir Ali, Ghulam Hyder, Muhammad Umar and Ahmed Ali.
“Four of the injured are in a critical state,” MLO Civil Hospital said.
