ISLAMABAD: Known jurist Justice ® Fakhruddin G Ibrahim and other lawyers, in a letter addressed to the Supreme Court’s chief justice and other judges, made a plea that the country was presently passing through a critical phase, as the cases under hearing in the court would determine a new direction and therefore, full court of the Supreme Court be constituted for the hearing these cases, which may also include the chief justices of the High Courts.Reminding the judges their duty to uphold the law and the constitution, the letter further said that if it were not done so, then its results would be disastrous. The letter said that the Supreme Court was presently hearing the most important case of the Pakistan history, whose petitioner had been the chief justice of Sindh High Court, this case would determine the future of the country and therefore, for such a high-profile case, full court be constituted. The law of necessity would have to be buried once for all, the letter said.
