Muhammad Hamid
It is a deep sorrow event that Benazir was assasinated. But it should not mean the destruction of the country.
Where are the leaders of the political parties, why are they not calling for calm throught out the country. These same leaders ask us to believe that they stand for democracy, but the wanton destruction that is being perpurtrated through out the country does not pertain to a democratic society. Why is it that only Musharaff has called for calm. With pwer comes great responsibility but it seems that the leaders of the political parties - namelly the PPP are staying quiet on this subject. Everyone is sorrowed and pained with the death of Mrs Bhutto, but let it not become an excuse to derail the progress that has been made and is being madethroughout the country. Lets not let the few demonstrate to the outside world how primitive a society we are. Do people not realise by destroying Mcdonalds and KFC's the only damage that is done is damage to the country, Mr Mcdonald and Mr KFC will claim any loss of money from insurance but think of the damage to the reputation of the country.
Come on, people of Pakistan, don't be swayed by the leaders of the parties who claim to fight for the common man and for the country but are only interested in themselves.
