Canadain Chief of Defence meets Gen. Tariq Majid

CNews RAWALPINDI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Tariq Majid met with the Canadian Chief of Defence General Rick Hillier here on Saturday.
During the meeting matters relating to the security situation in the region and enhancing bilateral military relations between the two countries came under discussion.
Both the officials expressed satisfaction on their present state of relations. They stressed on exchange of high military officials and military training.
Earlier, the Canadian Chief of Defence was warmly welcomed at his arrival by Director General Staff Headquarters, Lt. Gen. Syed Athar Ali here at Joint Staff Headquarters.
