CNews NEW DELHI: Six blasts hit the Indian city of Bangalore at crowded locations on Friday, police said.Local television said three people including a woman had been killed and 15 injured in these blasts.The blasts occurred at Nayandahallil, Annapanya and Madiwala. Bomb squads have been rushed to the blast sites. Cause of the blast is still not known.Telephone lines are jammed and there is panic in the city. Security put on high alert in the city and other parts of country after the blasts.
Woman among three die in Bangalore serial blasts
CNews BANGALORE: Five serial bomb blasts in IT hub Bangalore killed three including a woman and wounded more than 30 persons on Friday.The first explosion occurred at 1:30 pm according to the Indian time. The serial bombings happened in commercial area of the city during the rush hours. Two bomb blasts were occurred at Maliwari road bus stand in Bangalore, which is an information technology hub and fifth largest city of India.Telephone lines were jammed after the blasts, while the people started to return their homes, which caused traffic jams in the city. High alert has been declared in the city after the blasts.
