Karachi Nazim’s remarks have no connection with MQM policy: Rabita Committee

CNews KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement has said Cit Nazim Mustafa Kamal’s remarks are his personal point of view and it has no linkage with the policy of MQM.In a statement issued here on Saturday, Rabita Committee said City Nazim’s statement issued during a dinner ceremony hosted in honour of President Musharraf by the business community, was not aimed at hurting the sentiments of PPP’s leadership and its workers.Rabita Committee said city nazim’s remarks were not part of MQM policy, adding, MQM values its coalition partner and its leadership.Statement further said process of national reconciliation initiated by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Sindh would continue for the betterment of democracy and people of Sindh.

CNews KARACHI: MQM Rabita Committee said on Friday their party member and Karachi City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal’s statements, which he aired yesterday, were purely his own and have no links to the policy of MQM.In a statement the Rabita Committee clarified that the ill thoughts Mustafa Kamal spoke against PPP and the front line leadership of PPP were not meant to hurt their feelings.Committee said that MQM believed in coalition’s politics and being allied party we respect PPP and their leaders.MQM Chief Altaf Hussain commended the measures taken by the PPP Co-Chairman Senator Asif Ali Zarda for promoting democracy and coalition among political parties.
