CNews KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan has said that extremism and terrorism are two major challenges among the ones faced by the country and which the entire nation has to cope with collectively.“In this regard the young generation and specially the women can play an important role”, he said while addressing the concluding ceremony of second Provincial Summer Camp for talented girl students at Governor House here Wednesday. The camp was organized by Intermediate Education Board and attended by position winning girls from all the educational boards of the Province.The Governor said extremism is affecting all sections of the society, which is creating negative effects. He said attempts are made to thrust one’s extreme thinking on others while extremists are a very small minority of the society and terrorists still a minor portion of this minority. Governor Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan emphasized that a heavy responsibility devolves upon us all to rid the society from extremism and terrorism.

July 05: A Pakistani Scientist in Britain has invented a new chemical for processing plastic (polythene) bags which has the quality of dissolution after its use in 105 days.A manufacturing unit for these plastic bags was being set up in Turkey while interest has been shown in the setting up of a big unit and manufacturing firm’s head quarter in Karachi which will be used to supply such dissolvable polythene bags to Asian countries. The Director of UK based firm Bio Plast Biodegradable Plastics GL Punn while leading a 15 member delegation called on EDO Municipal Services City Government Masood Alam. The Executive Director of Bio Plast Pakistan Muhammad Hanif Awan and M. Sultan Mehmood Awan was also present on this occasion.
