CNews Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Provincial Home minister Zulfiqar Mirza have been reported to be at variance with each other over the investigations of Karachi bomb blasts that ripped various parts of the city yesterday.
Zulfiqar Mirza did not attend the special meeting to discuss law and order chaired by Sindh CM. Both the principal figures of the province held separate meetings one after the other with difference of some hours.
Meantime, Sindh Home minister nullified the orders of Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah for suspending the TPOs, DSP and SHOs of the affected areas, saying the action against the negligent officers would be taken only after the investigations.
None would be suspended before time, he added.
Sindh CM instituted an investigative committee comprising DIG Police Aleem Jafery and AD Khawja; whereas, the home minister appointed Saud Mirza as the investigative officer to probe into the incidents.
