Coalition heads discussing future strategy

CNews ISLAMABAD: Coalition leaders engaged themselves in devising future strategy following the resignation of General (retd) Pervez Musharraf as President of Pakistan amid celebrations of their victory.Zardari House became hub of the political activities soon after the President’s speech on national media where all the major coalition partners are set to meet to chalk out their strategy and to decide the next President and the restoration of the deposed judges.President Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman have already arrived in Zardari House to meet the Co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari.Many of the PPP leaders including several federal ministers are also present at Zardari House.Meanwhile, the PML(N) chief Main Nawaz Sharif, who flew in Islamabad early today, also arrived in Zardari House along with his associates Ishaq Dar, Chodhry Nisar Ali Khan and others.PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also arrived in Karachi from Dubai, reported ARY OneWorld.Chairman Senate Mohamed Mian Soomro has also left for Islamabad to assume the charge of acting President.PPP co-chairman hailing the President’s decision to quit the office termed it a victory of the nation and democratic forces.He hoped that the democracy and the country will be stabilized after the resignation of the President.
