PM strongly condemns Wah blasts
CNews ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Wah that claimed several innocent lives.The Prime Minister directed the authorities to make efforts to expose the hidden hands behind the incident that took place outside Pakistan Ordnance Factory in Wah. He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and said the perpetrators of such crime would be brought to justice.

Sherry strongly condemns Wah blasts
CNews ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman has strongly condemned Thursday's twin blasts at Wah that caused loss of innocent lives. In a statement issued here she said the barbaric act of terrorism reflected inhumane nature of the perpetrators. She said this is an attempt which is against the country and the government would never tolerate such acts and the perpetrators would be taken to task. Sherry Rehman reiterated that the government fight this menace with full might and bring to book the perpetrators of the heinous crime. She said the hidden hands behind these highly condemnable incidents would be exposed. The criminals were playing with the lives of innocentpeople, she added. "A few elements were trying to disrupt peace in the country but they will not succeed in their nefarious designs," the Minister said. The Minister said she has directed the hospital authorities to ensure complete care and all medical facilities for the injured. She prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity. The Minister sympathized with the injured and prayed for their early recovery.
NA Speaker, Dty Speaker condemn Wah blasts
CNews ISLAMABAD: Dr. Fahmida Mirza, Speaker and Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly have strongly condemned bomb blasts in Wah Cantt, which caused loss of several precious lives on Thursday. In a message, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker said it is a barbaric actof terrorism, which reflected inhumane and callous nature of the perpetrators.They said that a few misguided people were trying to disrupt peace in thecountry and derail the peaceful democratic process but they will not succeed in their nefarious designs. They said the criminals were playing with the lives of innocent people without realizing that they cannot save themselves from the wrath of Allah. Praying for the deceased the Madam Speaker and Deputy Speaker said that may Allah rest the souls of the victims in eternal peace and grant the bereaved families the courage to bear the loss. They also sympathized with the injured and their families and prayed for their speedy recovery.
Defence Minister condemns suicide attacks in Wah Cantt
CNews ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Ch.Ahmed Mukhtar has strongly condemned suicide attacks in Wah Cantt, in which precious human lives were lost. Condemning the blasts, the minister said that the killing of innocent people was a cowardice act and was no service to Islam. He Minister said that our religion, Islam, did not allow such inhuman act as it strongly believed in promotion of peace and brotherhood among mankind. He said that certain anti-Pakistani elements were trying to create instability and spread terror in the country but they would not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs. The minister expressed deep shock over the loss of innocent lives in the suicide attacks. In his condolence message to the bereaved families, he prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give courage and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience and equanimity.
Altaf Hussain strongly condemns Wah blasts
CNews KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Chief Altaf Hussain Thursday strongly condemned the twin blasts at Wah and expressed deep grief over loss of lives and injuries received by a number of people in the incident. In a statement issued by MQM here, Altaf Hussain termed such activities as part of a malicious conspiracy to politically and economically weaken the country which is highly condemnable. He called upon the government to take notice of blasts incidents and take practical steps for protection of life and property of the citizens. The elements who are shedding the blood of innocent citizens for achieving their disgraceful objectives are open enemies of the nation and the country, MQM Chief said. He called upon the government to arrest the elements involved in the blasts and take legal action against them. Altaf also condoled with the bereaved families over the deaths in Wah Cantonment blasts and prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace.
CM NWFP condemns Wah blasts
CNews PESHAWAR: The NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has strongly condemned deadly suicide bombings in Wah Cantt that killed several innocent people and said the people and government of NWFP were deeply shocked over the tragic incident. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed Allah Almighty to keep the departed souls in eternal peace and award courage to the bereaved families to bear these irreparable losses with patience and fortitude. Hoti said the people and government of NWFP were equally shared the grief of the people of Punjab, saying the perpetrators behind the heinous crime were the enemies of the country and its people. However, he said the people of the country through their unity would not let succeed the nefarious designs of the anti-state elements. "It is a cowardly act and should be condemned strongly," he added. The Chief Minister also prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the attack, saying the people of Punjab should not let the courage lost at this time of trail and should face the situation bravely.Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has directed the concerned quarters to conduct inquiry into the entry of a mentally retarded person to his chamber in provincial assembly. It is to be mentioned here that a mentally sick person on Thursday tried to enter the chamber of Chief Minister at about 2:45pm during tea break at the assembly hall but the man was stopped on his way to the chamber by the security personnel. On resistance, the man started shouting and created panic in the hall. Expressing his annoyance, Chief Minister directed Chief Security Officer Dr. Mazharul Haq to conduct an inquiry into the incident and present him report within three days.
