CNews LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif has said that the process of the impeachment of President Pervez Musharraf would kick off in the slated session of the National Assembly current month and the required number of the assembly members for getting the impeachment carried over was with the alliance.
Talking to the media on his arrival from Islamabad here, he said that the resolution relating to the impeachment of the President would be presented in the Punjab Assembly on August 11, which would demand from the President to take vote of confidence from the assemblies. Shahbaz Sharif said that the ruling alliance stands firm on the impeachment of President and as regards number games it possessed the majority in assemblies and the alliance would be successful in its objective.
Punjab chief minister said that we still stand firm on our previous stance as regards the reinstatement of judges, who would be reinstated immediately after the completion of impeachment process.
