AMagazine MUMBAI: The security forces in Indian city Mumbai declared to have taken in siege the terrorists and said it is the government which would make the final decision regarding the conclusive action.However, the media said that the officials started the negotiations with the terrorists.
According to Indian media, the security forces sources claimed to have completed 50 percent operation against terrorists at Taj Hotel and that there is no aggravated situation regarding hostages.
They said that the security forces laid siege around the terrorists at Oberoi hotel and now it is up to the government to opt for negotiations or operation.
Police chief said that there is no hostage held at Taj hotel and now the police personnel have started to clear the hotel.
Meantime, Home Minister SR Patel told an Indian television that the government has taken all the necessary information and all these details would be released after due verification.
Patel said at least five terrorists have been taken into custody in the operation.
