22 killed, 50 injured in Karachi suicide attack Awaz Apni Reported:

AWAZ APNI At least Tweenty persons have been killed while several injured including journalists due to a blast in Central Procession of Yaum-e-Ashur near City Court on M.A. Jinnah Road Karachi, reported AWAZ APNI News on Monday.Talking to AWAZ APNI News, Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik strongly condemned the incident and told that the suicide bomber blew himself up in the camps set up alongside the road. He urged the people to stay calm. He requested Shiite Ulema to cancel processions of 11th and 12th Muharram to avoid unwanted incidents.Angry participants of the procession pushed the media persons and security personnel away from the blast site. The angry mob also torched some vehicles parked alongside the road and nearby buildings. Rescue teams rushed to the blast site and started shifting the injured. Emergency has been imposed in all hospitals of the city. The number of casualties could not be confirmed.
