Mian Rashid laid to rest

Awaz Apni NOWSHEHRA: Mian Iftikhar Hussain’s slain son Mian Rashid Hussain was laid to rest at a local graveyard amid moving scenes here on Sunday.

Hussain, 27, was gunned down by three unidentified assailants at a local market in Nowshehra on Saturday night.

Earlier, thousands of people, including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Hoti, provincial ministers and ANP leaders, attended the funeral prayers of Mian Rashid.

PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Punjab minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman also attended the funeral prayers.

Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged at the Pabbi Police Station against Hussain’s murder in the light of statement of Mian Amjad Hussain, who was also wounded in the attack.

Police said that they have nominated three unknown assailants in the FIR.

Imran Khan sent me inappropriate text messages, claims Ayesha Gulalai

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Ayesha Gulalai alleged that Imran Khan sent her inappropriate text messages. Addressing a press conference, Gulalai said she wanted to hold presser tomorrow but as some PTI women had a press conference so she had to respond. “I am not concerned about party ticket or NA-1 seat, it is an illogical allegation, she said.  “Among many things, sending text messages is one of their bad habits,” she said. Gulalai said that Imran Khan always talks about turn of people to leave, adding that now it’s the PTI chairman’s turn. “Imran Khan cannot keep himself in control,” she said.
