Unidentified persons kill Mian Iftikhar’s son


CNews Noshehra: Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain’s son Mian Rashid has been killed and nephew Mian Amjad sustained injuries when unidentified persons opened fire on them in Noshehra on Saturday.
According to Awaz Apni News correspondent, two unidentified persons opened fire in which 25-year-old Mian Rashid was killed in Pabbi Shair Garhi, an area of Noshehra. Mian Rashid’s friend was also injured in the incident. Mian Rashid was walking in front of his house when the attacker targeted him. Sources said that Mian Rashid had received threats from unidentified persons. Mian Rashid had offered to provide security but he rejected the offer.
Mian Rashid and his cousin have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital. Police cordoned off the area and arrested four suspicious persons.
Federal Minister Bashir Bilour while talking to CNews News strongly condemned the incident. He said that terrorists want to destabilize the country. He said that terrorists can’t demoralize us.
ANP leader Asfandyar Wali while talking to CNews News said that it was a cowardly incident and terrorists would not be succeeded in their purpose. He said that terrorism would be defeated.
PM Gilani telephoned Mian Iftikhar Hussain and condoled the killing of his son. Interior Minister Rehman Malik and MQM leader Altaf Hussain condemned the incident.
