CNewsworld.com: India wants Sarabjeet's release after Surjeet

NEW DELHI: Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna Wednesday demanded Pakistan to release Sarabjeet Singh after the country’s announcement to free Surjeet Singh.
It should be mentioned here that Pakistan has always initiated steps to improve bilateral relations with India and expressed goodwill gestures despite frequent cold shoulder response from Indian side.
Talking to media, the Indian minister noted Pakistan should sympathetically consider Sarabjit Singh’s case as well, adding all such Indian prisoners who have served their complete terms in jail, should be released.
It is pertinent to note here that the federal law ministry dispatched summary regarding the release of Surjeet Singh to the Interior Ministry.
The officials said Surjeet is being released the next week as a goodwill gesture in return for the release of Dr. Khalil Chishi from India. SAMAA
