CNewsworld.com: MQM's Farooq Sattar meets Maulana Fazl

ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) delegation called on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief, Maulana Fazl Urrehman, at his residence here Saturday and exchanged views over the current national scenario, SAMAA reports.
Sources said MQM leaders, led by Farooq Sattar, stressed upon need of a round table conference to ensure integrity and sovereignty of the country in the wake of prevailing regional situation.
Sattar, in his meeting with the religious party chief, called for dialogue between all political parties to cope with threats and challenges currently facing the country.
He said a round table conference was need of the hour, for which the government should take the step first and make a pre-poll roadmap to eliminate unemployment, sectarianism, energy crisis and other problems.
Fazl on the occasion assured his support for the MQM, and urged the government to establish priorities in the US-led war against terrorism rather than becoming its ally and blindly support Washington in its regional policies.
MQM lawmakers have also met, Jamat-e-Islami, Awami National Party, PML-Q and Sunni Tehrik leadership, pursuing campaign for a round table conference. — SAMAA
