Prayer leader among 2 shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: Unidentified gunmen killed Maulana Rafiqul Khalil, a prayer leader, at Shaheed-e-Millat Road near Hill Park area of the city on Sunday, SAMAA reports.

According to police, the gunmen opened fire on his car, leaving him dead on the spot.

He was coming from Korangi, sources said. He was a prayer leader in Alamgir mosque, situated in Bahadurabad area of the city.

His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for legal formalities.

In another incident of firing, a man was shot dead in Gulshan-e-Ghazi area of Baldia Town. SAMAA
