CNET Analysis: The day has finally come that we can study the Samsung Galaxy S4 specs because they have been made official , and while most of what we have seen looks impressive; our readers over on Facebook seem a little disappointed by what they have seen so far. Maybe they were expecting more in the way of hardware enhancements or a slightly different exterior design? Before we move on to those specs, we thought you might like to know details regarding the Samsung Galaxy S4 carriers, because while watching the Unpacked event live we learned that the S4 was heading to 327 carriers in 155 countries. If you cannot wait to get your hands on the new handset from Samsung, then you’ll be pleased to learn that the release date will be the end of April – my birthday. Currently AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have announced that they are to carry the new S4 and you can register your interest now by visiting their websites. There is no word from Verizon, but we do know that EE, O2, Orange, Three and Vodafone in the UK will also be offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 to their customers. The first thing that you will notice is the fact that the screen is now a full 5 inches, and offers Full HD 1080p resolution. We spoke about the CPU so many times so finally nice to learn that the S4 will come with either a 1.6GHz Exynos Octa-core chip or a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm, but this will depend on your region. There’s also a massive 2GB of RAM and Android 4.2.2; so looks like the Google X Phone will outdo the S4 as it's highly likely this will release with Key Lime Pie . Even though the new version of the Galaxy S has a larger 2,600mAh battery a new manufacturing process has made the smartphone thinner and lighter. The camera is 13-megapixel to the rear and 2-megapixels at the front. You also get a choice of the 16GB Galaxy S4, 32GB or 64GB and the option to increase that by a further 64GB thanks to microSD support. For a list of ! the full specs then head over to Samsung Mobile Press . Again we will be looking a lot more into this phone throughout the day, so keep coming back but how do the specs seem to you so far?
