via I juz suddenly had a spur of this idea that how good it would be if Windows 7 Made things easier for all of us. So I designed this... Searching would be the main option. All things catergorized properly.. Top panel orb to be used for running applications and searching for applications. Side panel is to load personal files and documents. Folders could be dragged out of the window and placed on the side panel. *Noticed I used side panel.. Not sidebar... I think that sidebar is hopeless actually... CNews ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court, while issuing order for withholding the by-poll in NA-123, issued notices to the parties. Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer, Akram Sheikh Advocate told media that the SC has withheld the by-election until the resolution of dispute. SC three-member Bench, headed by Justice Musa Laghari comprising of Justice Zawwar Hussain Jaffery and Justice Farrukh Saeed, was hearing the petition against restraining Mian Nawaz Sharif from contesting election. Regular hearing of the case will be held from next Monday. Prior to the hearing of petition, Attorney General Malik Muhammad Qayyum told CNews News that the petition filed by the federation has raised the major objection and important question of the competence of Lahore High Court (LHC) hearing that whether or not LHC had the authority to give decision on this writ petition. Notices would be issued in this regard, besides the Court could pass an interim order, which was well within its authority, he told.

CNews ISLAMABAD: High Army officials gave an important briefing to the Prime Minister, Yusuf Raza Gilani on NWFP and tribal areas situations. Army Chief, General Ashfaque Pervaiz Kayani, NWFP Governor and Chief Minister, Foreign Minister, Interior Advisor, Chiefs of security agencies and other higher echelons attended this briefing held at the Prime Minister House here. Sources said that this high profile meeting mulled over the law and order situations prevalent in NWFP and tribal areas, while the prime minister was briefed on the ongoing activities of Taliban and their possible offshoots. The meeting focused on the policy for improving the law and order situation and establishing the writ of the government, while the strategy of Army operation, talks and other options for tackling across the border actions were also deliberated for the resolution of these issues, sources told.

CNews WANA: Extremists in South Waziristan have killed twenty-eight members of peace committee whereas 2 are reported missing. According to sources, extremists were kidnapped 30 members of the peace committee on Tuesday after a clash in Jandola in which 12 were killed and 15 sustained injuries. Twenty-eight out of 30 have been killed and their bodies have been recovered from Kariwam, an adjoining area of Jandola on Wednesday. Two members are still missing. The deceased were belonged to Bhattni tribe. Situation becomes tense in the area after the recovery of the bodies.

CNews ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif. Deputy Attorney General (DAG), Raja Abdur Rahman filing the petition made a plea that Nawaz Sharif’s case was important and, therefore, it should be heard today. Earlier, DAG talking to the media said, “Our constitutional stance is that under article 225, it was Election Tribunal’s authority. We have attached two more requests along with our petition—first, the SC should suspend the High Court’s decision and if this order gets suspended, then Mian Nawaz Sharif in turn becomes eligible for contesting election. Alternatively, we have prayed that the election be postponed until the decision of this petition,” he elaborated. He further said that we would first try getting the Lahore High Court’s order suspended and Mian Nawaz Sharif becomes the MNA.

Among the areas most affected by power outage included Federal B Area Block 12, 14, Gulberg, Landhi, North Karachi, Nazimabad, SITE Area, Orangi Town, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, Lines Area, Liaquatabad, Gulbahar, North Nazimabad, Dastagir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Mahmoodabad and Manzoor Colony.

Talking to Geo News, he said PML-N rejected the decision, adding it was politically motivated and does not fulfill basic requirement of justice.Responding to question, he said Punjab government was pursuing the case. He further alleged the judgment was result of conspiracy hatched by President Musharraf.

CNews LAHORE: The 3-member full bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared Pakistan Muslim League (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif ineligible to contest the by-elections and allowed Shahbaz Sharif to continue to work as Chief Minister Punjab.Petition of Shahbaz Sharif has been forwarded to Election Commission. The court in its verdict also said that Shahbaz Sharif’s case should be considered as pending.The council of Shahbaz Sharif said the decision of LHC is not the one made independently and there is ambiguity in the verdict. The PML-N workers chanted slogans against the government outside LHC after the announcement of the decision.
